Bamboo And Coconut Shell Great Substitution To Real Wood (Guest Post)

Working with recycled and natural material can help you make the environment more functional, comfortable, and sustainable. We have had a very warm winter this year. I have been dreaming about my children's winter in twenty years.  I remember my mom always told me to wear my hat and gloves not to mention my rubber boots. The winters were so bad to the point half of my small body were buried in the snow while making snow man. What happened to our four seasons? We have forgotten about our past and perhaps not worry about our children's future. We should be an advocate to save the world for others. Example why should we allow the factories to cut the wood to make wood floor when we can use the recycled wood that mimic the real walnut wood and so forth . Wood species that are easy to be found including rubber wood, bamboo, and old boats/ships are all being used in different countries to bring us sources of wood without harming the nature. I searched internet to see what sources we have for a wood flooring, wall tiles, and or furniture. There are many companies which promoted green material such as globaltrendsbuildingsupply.com. They have combination of many recycled and green materials from wood to resin and glass.  Even bigger companies now promote using recycled material such as crushed glass and recycled wood such as walker zanger, ann, sacks tile, and dal tile.

Wood Resins
Take coconut as an example of a recycled shell. So many things can be made with coconut shell such as wooden boxes, wall panel, wall tiles, furniture and so forth which does not harm the nature and as a matter of fact reuses the shell and waste and promote.

Ship wood
Ship wood is another recycled wood salvaged from old Asian boats and ships. Many factories now clean up any wood that is salvaged from old houses, ships, and barn and rejuvenate it to a new beauty.

Bamboo has been a popular choice among many Asian artists. The reason is the bamboo grows fast and you do not have to plant bamboo every time you harvest bamboo. There are many product made from bamboo even t-shirts which absorb moisture. Take a look at the bamboo panel, bamboo tile, and bamboo decoration that is now available online. Even though there are many companies selling this product I found more choices on a website called globaltrendsbuildingsupply.com.

Bamboo Tiles

Bamboo Tiles

Other wood species such as Camura, Paddock, and Asian Sap are also exotic woods that are from old recycled wood material. Great for the wall cladding, featured wall, partition, dividers and signage.
